The ‘Kapor’ Gallery

The Gallery is located on the ground floor of the ‘Momo Kapor’ Bar and takes its name from the genius painter that lived and breathed within the man himself. Many of this country’s most renowned painters have exhibited their work at the Gallery’s current or previous premises. Gallery’s opening hours:


Drvengrad (Timbertown) on Mećavnik is the home of the first crèche on Mokra Gora. It’s intended for children whose parents work at Mećavnik and also for other children of pre-school age from Mokra Gora, Kremna and Dobrun. It can also be used by the children of guests staying at Mećavnik

Hair salon

There’s a hair salon at Mećavnik – ‘Hair by Andjela’. Men’s and women’s hairdressing is available to guests (at an additional charge). Opening hours from 9 am to 5 pm, except Monday.

Handicraft market

Wooden stalls selling various souvenirs and slightly tacky goods – a typical sight at Serbian tourist resorts. If all that Drvengrad (Timbertown) and Mećavnik was missing to be considered a proper tourist spot were some market stalls, then problem solved! There’s a shop on Mećavnik selling souvenirs, books, films, CDs, magazines and newspapers, various handicraft items, excellent wines and brandies, and even the odd swimming costume if you feel like a swim, but left yours at home… Opening hours: Monday – Tuesday 10am-6pm Wednesday – Sunday 7am-7pm
